Five years ago, just two-thirds of Corvallis high school students were graduating. Since then, the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation has championed AVID – Advancement Via Individual Determination – a program supported by the Pacific Power Foundation that helps teens achieve academic success and prepare for higher education. Graduation rates are way up and more students are on their way to a bright future.
