Sometimes you need to answer the call of the open road and see where the day’s adventure will take you. And with the addition of 2,300 new charging ports installed across the West, electric vehicle owners can now roam farther than ever before.
At Pacific Power, we’re committed to expanding options for electric vehicle drivers while helping our customers achieve their sustainable energy goals. That’s why we’ve teamed up with city leaders, businesses and stakeholders statewide to support clean transportation. In addition to helping install these new charging stations near roadways, interstates and businesses across the region, we also offer programs to help our customers calculate fuel savings from driving an electric vehicle and answer questions about vehicle charging.
Our expanded charging network means that communities like Madras in central Oregon now have more fast-charging stations to serve EV owners. That’s big news, both for the area’s growing number of electric vehicle drivers and for the many people who can now stop in Madras for a quick charge and a bite to eat on their way to their favorite hiking or fishing spot.
Stories like this are happening across Oregon, from Bend in the high desert to Otis on the coast, and beyond, connecting the West with a robust charging system. And with an ever-increasing percentage of our power coming from renewable energy sources, you know you’re not just connecting your car to a reliable power network; you’re also connecting to a brighter future for all of us.
