With roots five generations deep, the people of Huntington, Oregon, are revitalizing their local economy, while preserving the unique spirit that makes this small town feel like home. The Burnt River Wind project – made possible by Pacific Power’s Blue Sky Usage and Habitat customers – has been a big piece of that puzzle, creating dozens of construction jobs, providing new income streams for area ranchers and sending positive ripples out through the economy.
