A few years ago, the facilities team at Intermountain Healthcare’s McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, set out to significantly improve the hospital’s energy efficiency—without purchasing new equipment. With technical support and over $60,000 in incentives from Rocky Mountain Power’s wattsmart Business program, they found new ways to make every part of their existing heating, cooling and ventilation system work more efficiently than ever before.
